INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

PDIC thru its BAC invites interested bidders to apply for eligibility and to bid for the project below:

Project Printing of Be A Wise Saver Posters (Rebidding)
Approved Budget of Contract P 600,000.00
Source of Funding 2009 Budget
Number of posters 16,000 pcs.
Delivery Within two (2) weeks from turnover of soft copy of material.
Minimum Requirements Bidders must have:

  1. proven capability and track record in printing posters, flyers, brochures, advertising materials, and such other publications and registered as anentity for the last five (5) years

  2. include among its clients at least one (1) commercial bank and/or government financial institution/agency

  3. printing facilities easily accessible from the Makati City area

  4. be equipped with appropriate computer software (i.e. Adobe Pagemaker 7.0, Adobe Photoshop 7.0/CS3, Nero Burning Rom); hardware (i.e. CD Rom and zip drive); e-mail and internet facilities.

  5. maintain a corporate website/domain for e-mail users and internet facilities

  6. in-house creative and layout artists assigned for this project

  7. digital printing facilities with at least two (2) four-color printing machines

  8. printing facilities (include printing machines, facilities for lamination/emboss and such other similar printing enhancements) must be housed within one area.

DEADLINE for the Submission of Eligibility, Technical and Financial Proposals; opening of said proposals shall follow immediately Until 9:30 A.M., SEPT. 18, 2009 (FRI.)

Cost of Bidding Documents P 600.00

Only bidding documents actually issued and purchased from PDIC shall be the bases for acceptance of bids (RA 9184-IRR-A, Sec. 17.5).

Criteria for eligibility check, examination and evaluation of bids and post-qualification shall be on a non-discretionary pass/fail basis.

The eligibility screening of bidders, evaluation of bids and awarding of contract shall be governed by Republic Act 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

PDIC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bid proposals, or declare the bidding a failure, or not award the contract, or suspend or cancel this procurement project at any time. PDIC makes no assurance that a contract shall be entered into as a result of this invitation. Furthermore, PDIC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of bid.

PDIC shall in no case be held responsible or liable for any and all costs associated with the bidders’ participation in the bidding process regardless of its results.
